I installed Xplanet as writen, but I have no clouds ... I followed the steps of your tutorial, and saw in the "download settings" that you had to execute a file after download (make_cloud_maps.bat) : perhaps is it the probleme, I have not this file ?? What is it ?

sorry for the late answer, but we have a new member in our family, so that process has highest priority .

You are right, when this file is missing there will be no clouds.
The batch file will create 2 new pictures for day and night, which will already contain the actual clouds.
This will reduce a little time to render all 3 maps together when you are rendering the new planet.

I have attached a zip file containing the batch and the config file to create the new maps.
Please have a look at the text files, I think they will explain themselves.

I've just a new little problem : all mirrors for download clouds_2048.jpg seems to have black picture (i.e. : www.ruwenzori.net/earth/clouds_2048.jpg) so I've still no clouds ...
Is it normal ?
