Yesterday I got a message, that there are no cloud images.
I talked to Hari, who made the script to create the image.
He said, that there is a problem at the University of Dundee site.

I don't know when this problem will be fixed.

ok, i was affraid that it could be a problem of configuration in my PC.
Wait and see, it is not resolved today ...

Vorab erstmal ein Lob an den erzeuger von diesem Tool.
Mir fehlt ebenfalls die Datei make_cloud_maps.bat bzw. die gepackte Version. Leider ist sie nicht mehr auf dem Server sodass ich sie nicht Downloaden kann. Bei mir macht sich das Prob. folgendermaßen bemerkbar :
Ich kann die Bilddatei clouds_2048.jpg per Klick auf den
Download Now button runterladen, aber bei dem Versuch sie automatisch runterzuladen kommt ein fehler :

02.06.2010 20:12:48 - Error. Can not connect to the internet. Waiting for next try.

Denke mal das ich es mit dem batch file hinbekomme.

Es kann sein, das winXPlanetBG seinen Ping vor dem automatischem Download nicht beantwortet bekommt und daher sagt, es wäre nicht mit dem Internet verbunden.
Es gibt in der winXplanetBG.ini einen Eintrag:
Server to ping=www.heise.de
Entweder man stellt in seiner Firewall ein, das auch der Ping durchkommt, oder man ändert diesen Eintrag zum Beispiel auf:
Server to ping=127.0.0.1
so dass man sich selber anpingt.
